You are receiving this notification for one of the following reasons. 1) Neither you or your spouse live in an approved state. 2) Neither you or your spouse have lived in an approved state for the required length of time to be eligible to file there. How long has your spouse lived in the state of

The state in which you are filling requires either you or your spouse to have lived in the state for a specific period of time prior to filling for divorce. You do not meet that criteria. Should you have any further questions please contact Stahancyk, Kent and Hook.

Do you have any joint children?

Do you have any joint children between the ages of 18-21?

Have all your joint children lived in the state of: for longer than

All joint children need to have lived in the same state in which you are filling for the approved period of time to use this service. Please contact Stahancyk, Kent and Hook today to speak with an attorney.

Are either you or your spouse currently pregnant?

Do you and your spouse acknowledge paternity of the child?

If you or your spouse does not acknowledge paternity of the child, your situation may involve additional steps that Divorce on Demand cannot assist with at this time. Please contact Stahancyk, Kent and Hook to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss how to best proceed.

Do you know the location of your spouse?

You can use our service to produce a petition for divorce. However there are additional steps required to file for a divorce without knowing the location of your spouse. We advise you speak with an attorney at Stahancyk, Kent and Hook.

Are you and your spouse in agreement on all issues?

Divorce on Demand is designed to support uncontested divorces. If you are not in agreement, please contact Stahancyk, Kent, and Hook to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss how to best proceed with your divorce.

Are you or your spouse contemplating bankrupcy?

Due to the complexity of bankruptcies, Divorce on Demand is not appropriate for parties who are either contemplating or are already in bankruptcy proceedings. Please contact Stahancyk, Kent and Hook to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss how to best proceed with your divorce.

Do you have retirement accounts that you wish to divide?

Dividing retirement accounts is complex, and Divorce on Demand does not provide the ability to do so. If you do not need to divide or transfer your 401K or PERS, you may continue using this service - otherwise we ask that you please contact Stahancyk, Kent or Hook to schedule a consultation with an attorney to discuss how to best proceed with your divorce.

Do you or your spouse have any non-joint children that you or your spouse are required to pay child support for?

If you or your spouse is paying child support for non-joint children, it will effect the child support calculation for the current case/matter, as it has the potential to act as a deduction. Please keep this in mind when using the child support calculator later in this process.

Do you and your spouse intend on having split sole custody of the children?

Are there any pending modifications or existing judgments?

Divorce on Demand provides start to finish paperwork for uncontested divorces and is not currently equipped to assist with modifications. Is there a prenuptial or postnuptial agreement?

Do you or your spouse own a business?

Owning a business adds a different level of complexity to divorce proceedings. Two of the biggest headaches are valuating the business and dividing the interests. Divorce on Demand is not currently equipped to handle either task. However, if you or your spouse owns a Sole Proprietorship, you may continue using this service as it will award the business to the sole owner. Do you have any property that is part of a trust?
